About Corey Layne

* VIEW COREY LAYNE'S SEMINARS *

           Corey Layne has worked in a variety of education related positions in West Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, and Georgia. She has worked as an educational consultant, and school psychologist providing consultation and training to parents, teachers, and administrators. Ms. Layne has assisted both local and state education agencies in restructuring schools in positive ways when the educational movement called for greater accountability at every level. Her experience includes using techniques for linking assessment to interventions when consulting with teachers to enhance the classroom performance of students.

           Ms. Layne completed her higher education at Marshall University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Arts in Educational Administration, Educational Specialist in Adult and Technical Education with an emphasis in training, Master of Arts in Psychology, and Educational Specialist in School Psychology. Ms. Layne is currently a Doctoral Candidate completing a Pre doctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology.

           In addition, Ms. Layne has taught an undergraduate course in academic study skills at Marshall University and Strayer University; undergraduate psychology courses at Ashland Community College, Strayer University, and Clayton State University; and graduate education courses at Strayer University. She demonstrates expertise in Response to Intervention (RTI), collaborative problem solving, data-based decision making, training educators and administrators, counseling, and developing academic and behavioral interventions. Ms. Layne’s seminars are peer-reviewed and research based. She has presented this training at local, state and national conferences. Her expertise and experience makes this a must attend seminar for educators, administrators, and school staff.
