           Dr. Steve Olivas is a psychologist, with a long and successful history of working with children and their families in and outside school systems. In addition, Dr. Olivas has co-hosted a popular radio talk show, written a weekly column for a major newspaper, and conducted numerous seminars throughout the United States. Dr. Olivas is a published scholar and has presented his research findings at national conventions. Dr. Olivas has severed as a professor and visiting professor at several universities. Secondary to his energetic and engaging presentation style, Dr. Olivas has consistently been a favorite among his students and participants at seminars.

           Dr. Olivas graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a PhD in Counseling Psychology. He also completed a two year post-doctoral residency at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Olivas is licensed psychologist and Health Services Provider in the State of Tennessee and holds certification as an Applied Behavioral Specialist. Currently, Dr. Olivas engages in private practice, specializing in working with children and their families in areas of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, development issues, and emotional concerns. He regularly consults with school districts throughout the United States.
